Have you heard the song “Another in the Fire” from Hillsong UNITED?

Chances are if you like to listen to modern worship music, you have…

And chances are you, you’ve been brought closer to the Father through the song as well.

Some of you may even know how to play the song at this point already.

But have you taken a minute to read the lyrics?

The lyrics in Chorus 2 contain such powerful truths that I so badly want you and I to remember and rest in today:

“And should I ever need reminding

What power set me free 

There is a grave that holds no body

And now that power lives in me”

How incredible that the power of God displayed through the cross to take on sin and displayed through His defeat of the grave,

Lives inside each one of us as believers. 

We call a lot of things incredible in this world, but that truly lives up to the meaning of the word!

Your Father loves you, cares for you, and wants you and I to trust the power that He has in your life!

Well, today, one of my goo...

Think about this for a moment…

Before a sound, let alone a single word, ever left your mouth, 

Our Father was singing over you.

Before you were ever able to take a breath, 

He breathed His life into you.

When you were not a friend, but a foe, 

The Father in His great love fought for you.

And when you feel you are not worthy,

Jesus paid it all for you.

The words above spell out the love the Father has for us as written about in the amazing worship song, “Reckless Love.”

Can you imagine a greater love than this?

Can you fathom a deeper level care?

A love and care not based on anything you’ve done,

But based on the fact that you are - simply - LOVED.

Ephesians 2 says that we are, “Saved by grace, through faith - and this is not from yourselves…”

But is a “gift of God  - not by works…”

What a gift!!

The gift of salvation from God, our gracious Father who loves us more than we can even comprehend.

I want to live in this truth daily.

I want to live in the grace, care, lo...

If you would consider yourself a beginner, this is a great piano tutorial for you to get into today!

The song “Eye of the Storm” from Ryan Stevenson is a great song, with some powerful lyrics as you’ll see when you listen through.

What’s even better about this song, as it relates to us as we’re learning it, is that the chord progressions are repetitive, chord modifications are simpler than other songs and are easy to understand.

So, if you’re a beginner, or would consider yourself one, this is a great song to learn for you!

If you’ve never succeeded in playing any song on the piano, I would encourage you to forget the past failures and fully jump in to this tutorial with me :)
